SUNDAY EVENING FELLOWSHIP - at 5:00p.m.on designated Sunday evenings. Covered dish meal (meal themes: Nov. 2 - Rice and pasta dishes; Nov. 16 - International dishes; Nov. 23 - Appetizers and finger foods; Nov. 30 - Pizza night. Prayer and Praise session at 6:00p.m. followed at 6:30p.m. by Covenant Groups and Youth Groups for grades K-12.
BOOK CLUB - second Monday of each month, 9:30a.m.
MOPS (Mothers of PreSchoolers) - second and fourth Tuesday each month at 9:00a.m.
MEN'S FELLOWSHIP - each Tueday at 9:30a.m.
ALANON - each Tuesday at 7:00p.m.
ECUMENICAL LUNCH - each Wednesday, 12:00noon.
FRIDAY NIGHTERS - third Friday of each month at 6:00p.m.

WOMEN'S RETREAT
AT PINE STREET CHURCH
FEATURING AUTHOR AND TEACHER, BETH MOORE
NOVEMBER 1, 2008
Pine Street United Methodist Church invites all women to an exciting one day retreat featuring well known author and teacher Beth Moore. We will hear four heart-to-heart video messages from Beth. Taped at a 2005 Living Proof Live event, Beth describes different types of people – some easy to love and some not so easy to love. These messages include insightful truths as well as humor, all designed to help women embrace the biblical mandate to love and to develop skills for loving others.
The retreat will be held at Pine Street United Methodist Church from 8:00 AM until 4:30 PM on Saturday, November 1, 2008. The day includes a light breakfast and lunch with times for small group discussions as well as worship. The registration cost of $20.00 covers all food, materials and a special tote bag packed with resources and goodies.
The cost of the retreat is only $20.00 and is limited to the first 100 women registered. There are a limited number of scholarships available.
